Eric Krause tries patent and trade secret cases, with experience spanning technologies from semiconductor fabrication and design to IoT and cloud computing. Drawing on his experience as a former electrical and computer engineer in the fields of BIOS, systems management, and network architecture at AMD – establishing itself as the initial supplier of 64-bit x86 CPUs – Eric crafts compelling defenses at trial based on the technology at issue. As a registered patent attorney, he frequently navigates the interplay between IPR  and litigation proceedings. His record for obtaining defense victories in key patent venues such as the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, Delaware, the International Trade Commission (ITC), and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) has earned him recognition by IAM Patent 1000.

Rebecca Clegg's practice focuses on complex intellectual property litigation and counseling, particularly in the fields of medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and semiconductors. Rebecca regularly litigates medical device and Hatch-Waxman Paragraph IV patent infringement suits. She also has experience representing clients in commercial litigation cases.

John DeQ. Briggs is one of the most accomplished competition lawyers of his generation. Since 1973, John has been antitrust and litigation counsel of choice for dozens of major companies in the United States, Asia, Europe and Scandinavia. Client demand for his work has mainly focused on antitrust, M&A and complex civil litigation, including especially matters implicating shareholder liability and jurisdiction based on principles of veil piercing, agency and alter ego. Prior to joining Axinn, John served for more than 10 years as the Chair of the antitrust practice for Howrey LLP, during his tenure the largest private antitrust practice in the world.
